A vacancy has arisen on Torworth Parish Council. We are now inviting applications from local residents who are passionate about their community and would like to play a part in shaping its future.

What does a Parish Councillor do?

-Represents the views of local people
-Helps make decisions on local services, events and projects
-Works to improve the quality of life in the parish
-Ensures the parish council is transparent and accountable

Who can apply?

You must:

-Be at least 18 years old
-Be a British citizen, a qualifying Commonwealth citizen, or a citizen of the EU
-Live in the parish or within 3 miles of it, or work/own land there
